Farid Shafiyev, Chairman of the Management Board of the Center for the Analysis of International Relations (AIR Center), criticized the biased position of Canadian Foreign Minister Mélanie Joly, Report informs.
“To be elected from Montreal, I understand, you need ethnic votes, especially Armenians. This requires the peddling of Armenian irredentism regarding the formerly occupied Karabakh region of Azerbaijan.
However, it is time for Canada to have leadership that can stand for Canadian independence and unity,” reads the post.
While speaking about the so-called Armenian genocide, Mélanie Joly made distortions about people of Armenian origin who voluntarily emigrated from Karabakh and made unjust claims against Azerbaijan.
