Poland is making every effort to strengthen economic cooperation with Azerbaijan and expand bilateral ties, Ambassador of Poland to Azerbaijan Rafal Poborski told Report.
“This concerns not only connections and communications, but also transport corridors,” he said, adding that the trade turnover between the countries is growing.
According to the ambassador, Poland is a close partner of Azerbaijan: “In 2017, our presidents signed a declaration on strategic partnership, which helped us develop a wide range of areas of cooperation.”
Poborski also emphasized the importance of cooperation in the scientific and educational fields.
“Many Azerbaijani students study in Poland. But we also need to work to establish exchanges between scientific circles: attract more Polish scientists to Baku and, conversely, Azerbaijani scientists to Warsaw,” the ambassador added.
