Azerbaijan is implementing initiatives that can serve as an example for the countries of the region in the field of clean energy development, Deputy Executive Director of the Center for Analysis of Economic Reforms and Communications Ramil Huseyn said at the panel discussion "Azerbaijan and the Economic Cooperation Organization: Opportunities and Prospects," Report informs.
He noted that Azerbaijan is actively strengthening economic ties with ECO members, primarily with Türkiye, Pakistan, Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan, and is also ready to expand exports to the organization's countries through the non-oil sector.
"Azerbaijan offers Central Asia new opportunities in the field of green energy. Work is underway to create a green energy corridor Azerbaijan-Türkiye-Europe," he added.
