Russian Bureau of Report News Agency informs that Azerbaijan is the main sponsor of the 26th International Exhibition of food products, drinks and raw materials for their production.
Azerbaijan’s Ambassador to Russia Polad Bulbuloglu said at the opening ceremony of the exhibition that 31 Azerbaijani companies are taking part in the exhibition. The exhibition is a great opportunity for the participating countries to enter the Russian market, to conclude beneficial contracts, to increase a commodity exchange between our countries and to boost the welfare of our peoples. The ambassador reminded that Russian Economic Development Minister Maxim Oreshkin has visited Azerbaijan recently: "We participated in the construction of the bridge between Azerbaijan and Russia over Samur River. Constructors are planning to complete the construction of a four-lane bridge until the end of this year. Once the bridge is ready, it will be possible to transport cargo from remote countries, such as India and Afghanistan to Russia and other countries within 15-16 days through the North-South Railway," Bulbuloglu stressed.
The exhibition, representing 31 Azerbaijani companies, offers participants fresh agricultural products, canned food, natural mineral water, various alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks, tea, nuts, dried fruits, confectionery products, etc.
Notably, Prodekspo organized by Exposentr with the support of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Russian Federation and the Ministry of Agriculture of the Russian Federation, is the largest scale exhibition of food industry products in the post-Soviet space.
