Azay Guliyev: French policy harms security of South Caucasus

France’s policy is harming the already fragile peace in the South Caucasus, the head of the Azerbaijani delegation to the OSCE PA, Azay Guliyev, said at the winter session of the OSCE PA in Vienna, Report informs.

“It is not coincidental that the French government has just two days ago reconfirmed its militarization policy and pledged new arms deals with Armenia. Such policy of France will only damage already fragile peace and security in the region and seriously affect the normalization process and therefore must be stopped.

The blames in particular by French parliamentarian here that Azerbaijan allegedly has claims or plans with regard to the territory of Armenia which are absolutely groundless and are simply designed as a pretext to support militarization efforts of this country,” he noted.
