“The hate speech of the members of the radical Armenian diaspora, who have targeted our country and Azerbaijan, and recently the Armenian government and the peace process in the region, that turned into provocation is worrying,” the Turkish Foreign Ministry said, Report informs.
As noted, on September 29, a group of Armenians committed verbal and physical provocations at an event themed "The role of public diplomacy in Türkiye's foreign policy" in California, US. Police and security officers prevented the spread of provocations.
According to the statement of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, legal measures will be taken to bring the culprits to justice.
There was provocation against Azerbaijan and Türkiye at the conference themed "The role of public diplomacy in the foreign policy of Türkiye" held in Los Angeles, the US.
Report informs that a group of Armenian provocateurs shouted insults at Azerbaijan and Türkiye targeting the Consul General of Azerbaijan in Los Angeles, Ramil Gurbanov, and Turkish representatives.
The provocation lasted for about 10 minutes.
With the help of police and security officers, the provocateur was taken out of the meeting hall.
