Ambassador: Azerbaijan-Kazakhstan relations have reached a new level

Relations between Azerbaijan and Kazakhstan have reached a qualitatively new level, Kazakhstan’s Ambassador Alim Bayel said during the 4th meeting of the Azerbaijan-Kazakhstan Expert Council, according to Report.

“The greatest indicator is the mutual visits, and we are witnessing a high level of activity in this regard. We are continuing the implementation of projects that are significant for the entire region,” he said, specifically highlighting the development of the Middle Corridor project.

The ambassador recalled that during the COP29 climate conference, Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, and Uzbekistan signed an agreement to lay a deep-water power cable for transporting green energy.

“Speaking of trade, I want to emphasize that last year Azerbaijan purchased 80% of its grain imports from Kazakhstan. This also reflects the high level of bilateral cooperation,” he added.
