18th meeting of EU-Azerbaijan Cooperation Council underway in Brussels

Brussels, the capital of Belgium, is hosting the 18th meeting of the Azerbaijan-European Union Cooperation Council, Report informs.
Minister of Foreign Affairs Jeyhun Bayramov heads the Azerbaijani delegation, and the EU delegation is led by Josep Borrel, the High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy.
As reported, the Cooperation Council will discuss EU-Azerbaijan Partnership Priorities and Sectoral Cooperation, the status of EU-Azerbaijan bilateral relations regarding the implementation of the Eastern Partnership, Economic and Investment Plan, and the next steps.
At the same time, the Cooperation Council will further exchange views on political issues, including regional problems, democracy, rule of law and human rights.
