Taleh Kazimov: Financial sector cannot develop without IT

The financial sector in Azerbaijan cannot develop without information technologies, Central Bank Governor Taleh Kazimov said at the 6th International Banking Forum held in Baku within the framework of the cooperation with the Mastercard international payment system, Report informs.

“In 2020, we all had a question on our minds: how will our economy recover after the coronavirus pandemic? In 2022, geopolitical and non-economic challenges and inflation are increasing the risks of weakening the global economy in 2023. In the current uncertain conditions, information technology will constantly develop, and the financial sector cannot develop without it. We cannot implement our policy without information technologies,” he said.
