Restructured loans in Azerbaijan exceed 1B manats

In 2024, the restructured loan portfolio in Azerbaijan increased by 34% or 282 million manats ($165.88 million) to 1.1 billion manats ($647.1 billion), Report informs, citing the Central Bank of Azerbaijan (CBA).
According to the CBA, the increase was mainly in the business portfolio (273 million manats or $160.6 million) for a limited number of borrowers.
During the reporting period, the share of restructured loans in the total portfolio increased by 0.4 percentage points to 4%.
Although an increase was observed in the restructuring portfolio, this was not systemic.
