Net foreign assets of Azerbaijani banks up by 11%

As of December 1, the net foreign assets of Azerbaijani banks amounted to over 19,212.5 million manats, Report informs, citing the Central Bank of Azerbaijan.

According to the bank, this figure is 2.2% more than on November 1, 4.2% more than at the beginning of the year, and 10.6% more than last year's same period.

At the end of November, the net domestic assets of banks amounted to 13,818.8 million manats, 1.2% more than at the end of October, 28.6% more than at the beginning of the year, and 41.4% more than a year earlier.

As of December 1, the assets stood at 35,604.5 million manats, up 15.8% from the previous year.
