Money transfers from Azerbaijan to Georgia drop

In January-February 2022, $9.2 million was transferred from Azerbaijan to Georgia, down 18.5% from the previous year, Report informs with reference to the National Bank of Georgia.
In the reporting period, the money transfers from Georgia to Azerbaijan amounted to $2.9 million, 21% higher than a year earlier.
In February, the money transfers from Azerbaijan to Georgia and vice versa stood at $4.8 million and $1.5 million, respectively, down 20% and up 15.3% from a year earlier.
