Major Kazakh investment firms eye Azerbaijani market entry

Investment company PASHA Capital is currently in talks with the Kazakhstan Stock Exchange (KASE) regarding potential membership, Ilgar Taghiyev, Sales Advisor to the Director of PASHA Capital, said during a press conference reviewing the company's performance for 2024, according to Report.

"We're in negotiations with the Kazakhstan Stock Exchange and have been offered membership. A preliminary analysis has already been carried out. It's possible the project will be implemented next year," Taghiyev said.

He emphasized that foreign investor interest in Azerbaijan's financial market remains strong.

"In particular, Kazakh investors are showing increased activity. They've expressed interest in cooperation and entering the Azerbaijani market, which they see as a promising regional investment platform. We've already held initial discussions with two major Kazakh investment firms exploring potential partnerships with PASHA Capital," he added.
