Dollarization rate in Azerbaijan continues to decline

Baku. 14 July. REPORT.AZ/ Dollarization rate of Azerbaijani population on bank deposits has made 74.52% as of June 1, 2017. Last month this figure was 76.6%, as of January 1, 79.63% and 80.87% compared to same period last year.
Report informs citing the Central Bank of Azerbaijan (CBA), dollarization rate on total deposit base was 75.2% as of June 1. Last month this figure was 74.85%, 75.29% as of January 1 and 80.77% in the same period of 2016.
In the structure of loans, dollarization rate was 45.75% as of June 1, 2017, 47.32% as of January 1, 2017, and 46.82% as of June 1,2016.
As of May 1, 2017 this figure was 48%.
