Baku. 5 January. REPORT.AZ/ Exchange rate of the US-dollar in Russia fell below psychological threshold of 60 RUR/USD.
Report informs, this is due to oil price at around 57 USD/barrel and increase in the volume of investment in Russia.
Notably, most recently, US-dollar was sold below 60 RUR in Russia on July 31, 2015. Analysts don't exclude that Russian Central Bank will intervene in the currency market as a buyer, if slight decrease of USD is observed. Thus, decline of the US-dollar may damage the country's export potential.
At present, USD exchange rate makes 59.75 RUR/USD.
