Report informs citing Coindest that the increase was 4.5%.
After Donald Trump won the US presidential election, the cryptocurrency increased in value by 1.5 times.
The latest bitcoin rally was triggered by media reports that Trump plans to appoint Paul Atkins, a known cryptocurrency supporter, as head of the Securities and Exchange Commission.
According to MarketWatch, the total market capitalization of all bitcoins in circulation is estimated at $2.04 trillion.
