Azerbaijan's life insurance market up by more than 30%

In January-February 2023, 82.158 million manats ($48.33 million) were collected in insurance premiums in Azerbaijan as part of life insurance (+30.4%), Report informs, citing the Central Bank of Azerbaijan.
During the reporting period, the payments on life insurance types increased by 3.6 times to 37.9 million manats ($22.3 million).
Thus, 46.1 manats ($27.12) of insurance payments accounted for every 100 manats ($58.82) of insurance premiums, while this figure was 16.6 manats ($9.76).
