Azerbaijan's foreign trade surplus grows

In January-July this year, Azerbaijan conducted trade transactions with foreign countries worth $17.691 billion, Report informs referring to the State Customs Committee.
This is 17.7 percent more than in the same period last year.
In the seven months of this year, $11.393 billion of foreign trade fell to exports and $6.298 billion to imports. Over the past year, exports grew by 24.8 percent and imports by 6.7 percent.
As a result, the foreign trade surplus amounted to $5.095 billion (57.7 percent more than a year earlier).
