Azerbaijan's foreign trade surplus declines over 2%

In January-March this year, Azerbaijan conducted trade transactions with foreign countries worth $ 6,668,300,000.
Report informs, citing the State Customs Committee, this is 2.6% less than in the same period last year.
In the first three months of this year, $4.137 billion of foreign trade fell to exports and $2.530 billion to imports. Over the past year, exports decreased by 1.6% and imports by 4.1%.
As a result, the foreign trade surplus amounted to $ 1.607 billion (2.4% more than a year earlier).
