Azerbaijan preparing green economy statistics - EXCLUSIVE

Azerbaijan is preparing a comprehensive statistical database on the green economy, Yusif Yusifov, deputy chairman of the State Statistics Committee of Azerbaijan, told Report.

He noted that most of the data will be published within the next two to three years, as Azerbaijan's green economy statistics are being collected in stages.

Yusifov added that the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources, the Ministry of Economy, and other government agencies in the socio-economic sphere will be the primary sources for collecting the information.

The collected data will be processed and presented to users, he added.
