Transportation via Baku-Tbilisi-Erzurum pipeline declines in January

Some 3.871 billion cubic meters of gas were transported through the main gas pipelines of Azerbaijan in January of this year, Report informs referring to the State Statistics Committee.

The volume of gas pumped through main gas pipelines increased by 7.34% month-on-month.

Last month, 48.5% of gas transportation was carried out through the South Caucasus pipeline Baku-Tbilisi-Erzurum.

It pumped 1.878 billion cubic meters of gas, which is 0.9% less in annual terms.
