SOCAR Trading appoints Klaus Lamprecht as head of Houston Office

SOCAR Trading, the trading arm of the State Oil Company of Azerbaijan (SOCAR), has appointed Klaus Lamprecht as Managing Director of its Houston office, Report informs referring to SOCAR Trading.

"We're thrilled to announce Klaus Lamprecht as our new Managing Director and Senior Products Trader for North America! With over 24 years in the energy industry and a decade of dedication within SOCAR Group, Klaus is set to lead our Houston office, managing business strategy and identifying new market exposures," reads the message.

Klaus Lamprecht holds a Master of Engineering degree. In addition to SOCAR Trading, he worked at SOCAR Overseas LLC, Petroplus and OMV. SOCAR Trading, headquartered in Geneva, was founded in December 2007 as the marketing arm of the State Oil Company of Azerbaijan.

SOCAR Trading is an international trading company with offices in five key financial centers (Geneva, London, Singapore, Dubai and Houston), engaged in trading crude oil, petroleum products, LNG, natural gas and environmental products.
