SOCAR more than doubles oil exports

In January-September this year, the Azerbaijan International Operating Company (AIOC) exported about 16.7 million tons of oil, Report informs referring to the operational data of the Energy Ministry for nine months of the year.
This is 1.2 million tons or 2.1 times more than in the same period of 2022.
During the reporting period, 19 million tons of oil (including condensate) were exported from Azerbaijan to foreign countries. This is 0.7 million tons or 3.6% less than in nine months of 2022.
AIOC exported about 16.7 million tons of oil, which is 1.9 million tons or 10.2% less than a year earlier.
The first oil from the Azeri-Chirag-Gunashli field block, located approximately 100 km from the coast of Azerbaijan, was produced in 1997.
