Mega production facilities for green energy to be created in Caspian Sea

Mega production facilities will be created on the Caspian Sea with the aim of exporting electricity from renewable sources to Europe, Energy Minister Parviz Shahbazov said at a meeting with US Assistant Secretary of State for Energy Resources Geoffrey Ross Pyatt, held at the Azerbaijan National Pavilion within the COP28 in Dubai, Report informs referring to Azerbaijan’s Energy Ministry.

The meeting participants discussed measures to reduce methane emissions, create green energy capacities on land and at sea in Azerbaijan, produce hydrogen and transmit electricity and green hydrogen along the Caspian-Black Sea-Europe Energy Corridor.
