IEA: Azerbaijan lagged behind OPEC+ quota by 90,000 bpd in August

Oil production in Azerbaijan in August amounted to 460,000 barrels per day (bpd), increasing by 10,000 bpd from the July figure (450,000 bpd), Report informs referring to the monthly update of the International Energy Agency (IEA).
According to IEA analysts, oil production in Azerbaijan in August lagged behind the plan under the OPEC+ deal by about 90,000 bpd.
According to the agreement reached at the 37th meeting of OPEC+ ministers, Azerbaijan's oil production quota for 2025 is 551,000 bpd.
