Azerbaijani Energy Minister Parviz Shahbazov, together with Masdar CEO Mohammed Jamil Al Ramahi, inspected the area where the 230 MW Garadagh solar power plant (SPP) is being built, Report informs, citing the Energy Ministry of Azerbaijan.
Representatives of the Masdar company noted that the construction of roads within the framework of the project has been completed, and the territory where the solar panels will be installed has been leveled and fenced.
It is planned to install more than 500,000 solar panels each with a capacity of 545-550 watts at the station. Currently, the panels are being gradually delivered to the site.
The Minister of Energy and the CEO of Masdar participated in the plant's first solar panel installation and tree-planting ceremony.
