According to Pojar, the Czech Republic is the second largest buyer of Azerbaijani oil: "In energy security, not only the source country, but also its arrival at the destination is of great importance. We believe that there can be no dependence on one source in the energy sector."
Pojar noted that oil, gas, coal and nuclear energy will serve countries for many years: "Much work needs to be done in many areas related to the renewable energy sector. For the Czech Republic, energy security is a matter of national security. Therefore, it is in our interest to strengthen cooperation in this area.
