BTC oil exports decreased in May

Oil exports via the Baku-Tbilisi-Ceyhan (BTC) pipeline averaged 568,000 barrels per day in May 2025, Report informs, citing OPEC's monthly update.
In May, compared to April, exports via the Baku-Tbilisi-Ceyhan pipeline decreased by 6% or 37,000 barrels per day, amounting to 568,000 barrels per day.
Compared to May 2024, oil transportation via BTC decreased by 4.5% or 27,000 barrels per day.
The pipeline was inaugurated on July 13, 2006. Its length is 1,768 kilometers: 443 km passes through Azerbaijan, 249 km through Georgia, and 1,076 km through Türkiye.
