Azerbaijan’s revenues from petroleum coke exports triple

In the first half of 2025, Azerbaijan exported 98,866 tons of petroleum coke, valued at over $31.158 million, Report informs, citing the country's State Customs Committee.
According to the customs declarations, the exports dropped by 16.8 percent in volume and rose by 3.1 times in value compared to 2023.
Meanwhile, the share of petroleum coke in Azerbaijan's total exports for the reporting period was 0.2%.
Overall, Azerbaijan conducted trade transactions with other countries worth $24.4 billion in the first six months of 2025. Of that, $12.878 billion fell to exports and $11.522 billion fell to imports. During this period, exports increased by 0.2 percent, while imports grew by 29.9 percent.
SOCAR's Heydar Aliyev Oil Refinery, as the only oil refinery in the region, provides Azerbaijan with fuel products such as RON-92, diesel, jet fuel, and raw materials.
