Azerbaijan’s oil imports down 30%

In January-April 2024, Azerbaijan imported 466,813.93 tons of oil worth $256.15 million, a 30.5% decrease in quantity and 33.2% drop in value compared to the same period last year, Report informs, citing the State Statistical Committee.
Russia remained the largest supplier in Azerbaijan's import structure. During the reporting period, 376,941.77 tons of oil worth $201.88 million were imported from Russia, marking a 26.5% increase in quantity and a 22.3% increase in value.
Azerbaijan also imported 28,804.35 tons of oil worth $18.97 million from Kazakhstan and 61,067.82 tons of oil worth $35.3 million from Turkmenistan in the reporting period.
