Azerbaijan reduces polypropylene exports

From January through September 2022, Azerbaijan exported 52,488.2 tons of polypropylene in primary form for over $72,432,110 million, Report informs, citing the State Statistical Committee.

These figures are 18.5% and 16.4% less than in January-September 2021, respectively.

In January-September 2022, the share of polypropylene in Azerbaijan's non-oil exports amounted to 3.42%. During the reporting period, the percentage of polypropylene in the primary form in the country's total exports amounted to 0.25%.

In the first nine months of 2022, Azerbaijan carried out trade operations with foreign countries in the amount of $39.814 billion. Of the nine-month foreign trade turnover, $29.521 billion accounted for exports, and $10.293 billion for imports.
