Azerbaijan posts 8% decline in oil production in four months

In January-April 2023, 10.2 million tons of oil (including condensate) were produced in Azerbaijan, 0.9 million tons or 8.1% less than in the same months of 2022, Report informs, citing Energy Ministry.
Of this, 6.2 million tons were extracted from the Azeri-Chirag-Guneshli block of fields, 1.5 million tons of condensate from Shah Deniz.
SOCAR produced 2.5 million tons of oil.
