Azerbaijan increases oil sales to Israel

In January-September 2024, Azerbaijan exported 2,372,438.38 tons of crude oil to Israel for over $1.464 billion, Report informs, citing the State Customs Committee of Azerbaijan.

The volume of oil exports from Azerbaijan to Israel increased by 18.9% year-on-year while the value soared by 21.3%.

In the first 9 months 2024, the share of crude oil exported to Israel in total oil exports of Azerbaijan was 13.48%.

During the reporting period, according to customs declarations, Azerbaijan exported 17,608,860.22 tons of crude oil and oil products obtained from bituminous rocks for $11.008 billion.

During the reporting period, Azerbaijan conducted trade operations worth $34.498 billion with other countries. Over $19.85 billion of the trade turnover accounted for exports, while $14.643 billion accounted for imports. Over the past year, exports decreased by 25% while imports increased by 16%.
