Azerbaijan discusses offshore wind energy with World Bank

Azerbaijan discussed the development of offshore wind energy with the World Bank, Energy Minister Parviz Shahbazov said on X, Report informs.
"At the meeting with the delegation led by the World Bank’s Regional Director for the South Caucasus, Ms. Rolande Pryce, the support provided for the Azerbaijan Renewable Energy Scale-Up Project (AZURE) was recognized as a significant step in integrating renewables into the grid," Shahbazov wrote on X.
Cooperation opportunities with the Bank on offshore wind energy development, green energy corridors, pumped storage hydropower, and other prospective projects were discussed.
