Azerbaijan details 11-month declared gas imports

In January-November 2024, the declared gas import to Azerbaijan exceeded 513.5 million cubic meters, down 4.3 times year-on-year (YoY), Report informs, referring to the country's State Statistical Committee.

Also, the value of gas imported to Azerbaijan for the reporting period dropped by 4.2 times YoY, amounting to just under $82 million.

Over the course of eleven months, almost 371.9 million cubic meters of gas worth $55.783 million were supplied from Turkmenistan, representing a 3.8-fold decline in volume and a 3.6-fold decrease in value compared to the same period in 2023.

In the specified period, more than 141.6 million cubic meters of gas, valued at over $26.2 million were imported from Russia, which is 5.7 times less in volume and 5.5 times less in value compared to the corresponding period last year.

In 2023, the declared gas imports to Azerbaijan exceeded 2.332 billion cubic meters, valued at almost $362 million.
