Studying the Azerbaijani language opens a window into the rich history and unique culture of Azerbaijan, Tu Kaiyang, a second-year student in the Azerbaijani language department at Beijing International Studies University, according to Report.
"Before I began learning Azerbaijani, I knew very little about the country. But as I studied the language, a completely new world opened up to me. Our classes go beyond grammar and vocabulary — we also explore Azerbaijan’s history, culture, and traditions. Through this language, I’ve been inspired to build friendship with Azerbaijani students studying here in China," he said.
Tu Kaiyang also reflected on his visit to Azerbaijan, describing it as an unforgettable experience.
"The 15 days I spent there left a deep impression on me. Feeling the sea breeze on the Caspian coast, traveling to Ganja to visit the mausoleum of the great poet Nizami Ganjavi, and enjoying tea in the mountains of Guba with friends — those moments were pure joy," he concluded.
