Azerbaijan launches new service for foreigners to apply to local universities 

As a continuation of the work carried out to expand and promote opportunities for foreigners to study in Azerbaijan, a centralized e-application service ("SIACAS: Study in Azerbaijan Centralized E-Application Service") was launched through the portal.edu.az system, Report informs, citing the Ministry of Education.

According to the Ministry, the platform will allow foreigners to apply to a maximum of 3 higher education institutions electronically. Along with other required documents, they will be able to select the educational programs offered by the educational institutions in the system.

After considering the application, the relevant higher education institution will be able to make an electronic admission, accept tuition fees and continue the next communication through the electronic cabinet. At present, the system includes information on the programs offered to all local universities and foreigners.
