Uzbek MP: Election results in Azerbaijan to serve country's further development

The results of the early presidential elections in Azerbaijan will serve the further development of the country and people, the Chairman of the Senate Committee of the Oliy Majlis of the Republic of Uzbekistan Odiljon Iminov told journalists in Khankandi, according to Report's Western Bureau.

"Parliamentarians of Uzbekistan were invited by the Parliament of Azerbaijan to observe the voting process in the early presidential elections. We visited Shusha, and now we are in Khankandi. In our opinion, everything here complies with international standards. Preparedness for the elections is ensured at a good level and meets the standards," he said.
