Search for mass graves in hard-to-reach mountain areas completed in Kalbajar

Searches for possible burial sites of missing persons continue in the liberated territories of Azerbaijan.
Eldar Samadov, Deputy Head of the Working Group of the State Commission on Prisoners of War, Missing Persons, and Hostages, told Report in an interview that in July and August of this year, work was carried out in hard-to-reach mountainous areas of the Kalbajar district.
According to him, the searches involved a large number of specialists from relevant state agencies.
"Unmanned aerial vehicles were also used. According to the plan, this stage of work was recently completed, taking weather conditions into account. Further activities will be carried out in stages," Samadov added.
