Michael Creed, the Special Coordinator and Head of the OSCE Observation Mission, has expressed confidence in the organization's preparedness to monitor the ongoing elections in Azerbaijan.

With over 200 observers deployed across various polling stations nationwide, the OSCE is set to publish a comprehensive report based on their findings.

"In recent days, we have held extensive briefings with civil society organizations, political parties, and the election commission," Creed told Report. "The election commission has provided us with particularly detailed information, which has been crucial in helping us stay well-informed about the elections."

The OSCE's observation mission has been present in Azerbaijan for a month, allowing them to gain a thorough understanding of the electoral process.

Creed, who comes from Ireland, expressed his admiration for the beauty of Baku but emphasized that his primary focus remains on visiting polling stations and gathering information.

"As members of the OSCE Parliamentary Assembly, we have a common goal. We share our commitment to democratic principles, free and fair elections, and freedom of assembly," Creed added.

The OSCE's report, set to be released tomorrow, will be framed against this backdrop of shared democratic values, he said.
