Azerbaijan's platform of think tanks presented

The presentation of the Azerbaijani think tank platform and its web portal has taken place, Report informs.

A session on "Think tanks in Azerbaijan, issues facing them, and the role of the think tank platform" was held as part of the presentation.

The event was attended by Fuad Akhundov, head of sector at the Presidential Administration, Farid Shafiyev, chairman of the board of the Center for Analysis of International Relations, Eldar Namazov, director of the Center for Strategic and International Studies, MP Zahid Oruj, chairman of the Center for Social Research, MP Fariz Ismailzada, vice-rector of ADA University and director of the Institute for Development and Diplomacy (IDD), Vusal Gasimli, executive director of the Center for Analysis of Economic Reforms and Communication, Ravan Hasanov, executive director of the Baku International Center for Multiculturalism, and Farhad Mammadov, director of the Center for South Caucasus Studies.

The purpose of creating the platform is to stimulate the activities of think tanks, as well as ensure interaction between government agencies and think tanks.
