Azerbaijan and Uzbekistan ink cooperation protocol on development of cultural relations

The Chairman of the Board of the Icherisheher State Historical-Architectural Reserve, Shahin Seyidzade, received the delegation led by Maksud Bekchanov, the representative of the Khorezm province government of Uzbekistan, and Bakhrom Ashrafkhanov, the ambassador of the country to Azerbaijan, Report informs.

The main purpose of the meeting is to discuss issues of cooperation between the Icherisheher State Historical-Architectural Reserve and the Ichan-Kala State Museum-Reserve, as well as to sign a Protocol on Mutual Understanding and Cooperation between the two historical reserves.

The protocol was signed by Shahin Seyidzade, the Chairman of the Board of the Icherisheher State Historical-Architectural Reserve, and Rustom Erniyazov, the Deputy Director of Ichan-Kala State Museum-Reserve.

Later, an excursion was organized for the guests to get familiar with the activities of the Icherisheher Centre for Traditional Arts Bakı.
