Kazakhstan will actively participate in the COP29 climate conference, which will be held in Baku in November this year, Kazakhstan's Ambassador to Azerbaijan Alim Bayel said at the Azerbaijan-Kazakhstan tourism forum organized at the embassy building.

According to Report, he stated that Kazakhstan and Azerbaijan are strategic partners, facilitated by close political dialogue between the heads of state.

"According to statistics for 2023, every second tourist from Central Asia who visited Azerbaijan last year came from Kazakhstan. Last year, 58,000 Kazakh tourists visited Azerbaijan. From January to June 2024, more than 38,000 Kazakh tourists have already visited Azerbaijan. Overall, in terms of the growth dynamics of the tourist flow to Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan ranks third after China and India," said the ambassador.
