In today's world, honest and transparent actions by companies in the sphere of climate transition are becoming increasingly important, according to Luke Nelson, Executive Director of American bank JP Morgan.
Report informs that, speaking at the "Climate Transition Plans: Challenges and Solutions" event held as part of COP29 in Baku, Nelson emphasized the significance of honesty in approaches to climate plans.
"Companies across various sectors are starting to better understand their capabilities, recognizing what is within their power and what is not, Nelson noted, adding that this understanding allows companies to set more realistic goals and formulate strategies for transitioning to a sustainable economy.
Nelson also stressed that the importance of national policies in driving the climate transition cannot be overstated,"
He said JP Morgan takes a clear stance in relation to transparency in climate action.
