Creation of national transparency systems for climate monitoring mulled in Baku

A meeting dedicated to national transparency systems for monitoring climate activities has been held in Baku as part of COP29, Report informs.

The discussion aimed to raise awareness among participating countries about the development and implementation of MRV (Measurement, Reporting, and Verification) systems, strengthen international cooperation, and create opportunities for improving these mechanisms.

During the event, countries that have already implemented MRV systems shared their experience and answered participants' questions.
