Azerbaijani Ecology Minister discusses COP29 outcomes with GEF CEO

Azerbaijan's Minister of Ecology and Natural Resources and COP29 President Mukhtar Babayev discussed the historic outcomes of COP29 with Carlos Manuel Rodriguez, CEO of the Global Environment Facility (GEF), Report informs.

“At COP16 in Riyadh, the COP29 Presidency met with Carlos Manuel Rodriguez, CEO of GEF, to discuss the historic outcomes of COP29 in Baku.

Focused on advancing climate finance, fostering partnerships and driving global action for land restoration and drought resilience. Together, we build on this legacy for a sustainable future,” reads the post of COP29 on X.
