Azerbaijan has become one of the most dynamically developing and visible economies in the region, attracting global investment, Minister of Foreign and European Affairs of Slovenia Tanja Fajon said during the Azerbaijani-Slovenian business forum in Baku, Report informs.
"As a key player in the international arena, Azerbaijan continues to strengthen its position as a center of trade, industry and innovation," she said.
In turn, she noted that Slovenia seeks to deepen economic cooperation with Azerbaijan in various sectors, strengthen partnerships and open up new opportunities for growth.
As Fajon noted, the key areas for Slovenia are pharmaceuticals, development of small and medium-sized hydroelectric power plants, photovoltaics, ICT infrastructure, electrical industry, health tourism and agriculture.
"In these turbulent times, we must firmly affirm that dialogue and consensus must prevail over conflict and disagreement around the world.
