Saudi Arabia puts forward proposals for development of trade links with Azerbaijan

Baku. 4 March. REPORT.AZ/ The trade turnover between Azerbaijan and Saudi Arabia did not exceed $20 million, Ibrahim bin Abdul Rahman Al-Omar, governor of the Saudi Arabian General Investment Authority (SAGIA), said at the 5th meeting of the Azerbaijan-Saudi Arabia Joint Commission on Cooperation in the fields of economy, trade, investment, technology, culture, sport and youth held in Baku
According to him, it doesn’t fit the ambitious development program between the two countries.
He put forward a number of proposals for development of the bilateral relations, including implementation of work plans, signing of an agreement on customs cooperation, creation of the platform for promotion of favorable investment climate.
