Regular talks on Azerbaijan’s membership in WTO to be held

Regular negotiations on Azerbaijan’s membership in the World Trade Organization (WTO) will be held this year, according to the Business Environment in Azerbaijan 2021 report, prepared with the financial support of the EU, Report informs.
The principles and rules of the WTO are included in the newly adopted trade legislation and in the domestic regulatory framework. According to the information provided by the government of Azerbaijan last year, a new version of the working group’s report was published in July 2021. The EU also continued to support the Azerbaijani government in preparing trade negotiations and implementing the domestic reform agenda.
