Georgia’s vehicle exports to Azerbaijan drop by 35%

Between January and July of 2025, Georgia exported 5,079 vehicles to Azerbaijan, valued at $142.5 million, marking a year-on-year decrease of 35% and 10%, respectively, Report informs, citing Georgia’s National Statistics Office
Despite the decline, Azerbaijan ranked third among the countries importing vehicles from Georgia.
In 7 months, Georgia exported a total of 60,442 vehicles worth $1.48 billion to foreign countries—an increase of 24% in value and 5.5% in volume year-on-year.
In the first seven months of 2025, Georgia supplied vehicles to:
- Kyrgyzstan: 23,624 vehicles worth$ 759 million;
- Kazakhstan: 24,812 vehicles worth $426 million;
- Tajikistan: 2,301 vehicles worth $48.3 million;
- Armenia: 1,454 vehicles to worth $31.2 million.
For reference, in 2024 Georgia exported 106,051 vehicles worth $2.43 billion, of which 12,849 vehicles valued at $290 million were delivered to Azerbaijan.
